Description

Prime World is a strategy MMO that will be available across multiple platforms, including PC, Facebook, iOS, and Android devices. It features empire-building aspects as well as real-time PvP battles. The game is a unique blend of massive online real-time strategy, role-playing games and social networking. Much attention is paid to the interaction of male and female characters.

Prime World is a strategy game at its core. Two factions are fighting for control of Prime, a resource that powers everything in the world. You choose to join one of these factions and have a castle where you can build structures to produce resources, armed units, etc. In battle you're teamed up with other people who are part of your faction, and fight against those of the other faction. The battling resembles that of an MMO with talents that can be activated to deliver more devastating attacks.

However, a casual player doesn't ever have to battle anyone. They can focus solely on the castle-building and resource gathering, which is similar to many other Facebook games. They can then send resources to their friends who may want to battle in order to help them. Casual players who want to battle, but may not be the best at the more hardcore mechanics can enter a Zuma-style mini-game where they earn scrolls that can be sent to their allies in battle to help them heal or deliver more powerful attacks. It gives these players the opportunity to play at the same time as their friends, but in a way that's more comfortable for them.

It's a game for everyone that doesn't dumb down the core gameplay for causals and doesn't alienate casual players by forcing them to play outside of their comfort zone. In addition to all of this, Prime World is gorgeous, and looks to be the best-looking game to hit Facebook when it launches.
